Overview

Leading car producer Jaguar Land Rover were just starting to enter a period of transition, with electric and connected cars being the blueprint for their future.

With that in mind they needed to hire a number of software engineers to help shape their future. The problem here wasn't one of the number of people applying, but more so the quality of the candidates. With a fairly light budget we needed a solution which was easily and quickly produced and was fairly self sufficient and organic. With all that in mind TechQuest was born. Centred around a video full of hidden clues, we sent candidates on a digital treasure hunt across social and digital channels. Those who successfully completed the challenge were rewarded with a fast track to a job interview.
